The Clothing Alterations Company

The Clothing Alterations Company, 5 St Martins Walk, Leicester LE1 • Ridiculously grand dry cleaner featuring Bacchus, Roman god of wine; the shop was once wine merchants John Sarson & Son, who installed it in homage to Leicester’s Roman history and their own products. English Heritage says the frontage is carved in a Jacobean manner, probably late 19th century, and probably from another building.
