Pullman Motors, 142 Newport Street, Lambeth, Borough of Lambeth, London SE1, 2015 (top) and 2016 • Self-styled “last garage in Vauxhall”, established 1948, in what was once an entire row of car workshops. The road has now been colonised by Damien Hirst’s vast Newport Street Gallery. The paint job is quite recent; in 2015 (top pic) some of the old signage remained outside the gates, but by 2016 (second pic) it’s been replaced by a typeset list of services.
