Raymond Revuebar, 11 Walker’s Court , City of Westminster, London W1, 2002 • The badly-letterspaced world centre of erotic entertainment, London’s historic Raymond Revuebar, home also of the famous Madame Jo-Jo’s and the Comic Strip. In the 1950s owner Paul Raymond pioneered nude girlie revues here, made his fortune, and it remained a neon-lit cornerstone of Soho’s red light district till Westminster started cleaning up the area in the noughties. It closed in 2004 – we’ll see how it fared tomorrow.
