Book’s, 230 High Street, Gateshead, Tyneside, 2005 • Not a bookshop or a typo, it’s a fashion shop run by someone named Book (and shot in the dark and rain). I can find no info on the the internet – it’s a very ungoogleable name – except a 1998 article mentioning a local chain called Books Fashions, which sounded closed down even then. By 2015 it was The Hive, a centre for independent micro-shops – their Facebook page is here.
