A. E. Walsby Opticians, 48 Renshaw Street, Liverpool L1, 2003 • A family chain which lasted until one of the third generation was convicted of defrauding the NHS. It was the same year I photographed this, which may explain why Rapid wallpaper shop (also now defunct) has moved into it.
