The Corner Off-Licence

The Corner Off-Licence, 18 Abbey Lane, Stratford, Borough of Newham, London E15, 2006 • More modernist grimness, in an area whose local landmark was at this point a sewer outfall, but is now the Olympics park. Perhaps in relief, this shop is now called Happy Off Licence; and with red Coca Cola branding and the Olympic rings on its awning, it does indeed look more cheerful.
