Ex-Drinks Cabin

Ex-Drinks Cabin, 498 Abbey Wood Road, Abbey Wood, Borough of Bexley, London SE2, 2014 • The black bottle speaks of a booze store, which internet research suggests was called Drinks Cabin. Google Street View shows it just as nameless in 2008, except that back then it was adjoined toThe Harrow Inn, a handsome but scary old boozer which has since been demolished, and is now a dangerous vacant lot. As a comment below points out, the speech bubble logo dates from a rebrand as ‘The Local‘.

Nameless off licence

    • Thanks – I knew that logo was for a chain, but couldn’t remember what, and despite copious internet hunting couldn’t find out. Mystery solved!
