Picasso, 127 Kings Road, Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, London SW3, 2003 • Glum fogies adorning a famed Kings Road coffee bar which over the course of 50 years catered to poshos and punks alike (article on its 2009 closure here). In the ongoing blandification of London’s high streets, it recently became a Black & Blue burger restaurant. Even the beautiful wall sign (bottom) has gone.

  1. The sign seems to re-appear when you click the picture – looks like it was taken down when they were doing shopfit – but put it back later
