Stoniers, Williamson Square, Liverpool, 2003 • Offering “a world of glass and china” no more, this famous Liverpool store once supplied crockery to the Titanic (and indeed the whole White Star Line, whose old Liverpool HQ I featured here). Marks & Spencer purchased the premises in 2010, and by 2012 it was demolished. Plans for a futuristic M&S did not materialise, and there’s still controversy surrounding the whole square.
Very sad it closed do you know if you have any other shops in Liverpool and do you do valuations on items purchased by from stoniers thank you
