Happy Days, 44-46 Goulston Street, Borough of Tower Hamlets, London E1, 2004 (top two) and 2010 (bottom) • One for Samuel Beckett fans, and also beloved by pigeons (note bird emerging from hole above centre of signboard). By 2010, a misguided attempt had been made to cheer the place up (see below), featuring what appears to be a chef torturing a fish.
