Albert Hall (The Fair & Square Club), 12 Midland Road, Kingston upon Hull, 2013 • Practically opposite yesterday’s stunning Tower, another fun palace in far worse condition – a Victorian music hall, which later became a billiards hall, then in the 1970s the Fair & Square Club. It’s now on the verge of collapse and seems likely to be demolished: there’s a history of it, and much other Hull architecture, on Paul Gibson’s blog here.
