Hockeys’, 50 High Street, Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire, 2007 • Ex-antiques shop with name and appearance straight out of a tale by late local Roald Dahl. Note non-greencrocer’s apostrophe in Hockeys’ – it’s grammatically correct, as there were two of them. The premises later became a Thai restaurant.
Did they keep the shop front for the restaurant?
Well my most recent information is a 2008 Google streetview shot which you’ll find here. As you can see they’re refurbishing the premises and it’s still semi-intact, but i don’t know what happened after that.
