P.F. Garnett & Co. Ltd

P.F. Garnett & Co. Ltd., 137 Duke Street, Liverpool L1, 2003 Another abandoned Liverpool shop – it’s a long time since cork importers were big there. This was still the same in 2012. By 2014 it had been restored and repainted exactly as here, but with a presumably different occupant.

  1. This was a family business, which sadly fell into disrepair after the proprietor retired and the business eventually closed. It was believed to have been sold to Liverpool Council. There was mention of the building being of architectural interest in the late 1980’s.
