  1. James William Markham, Greengrocer and Fruiterer. The Markhams were here for decades before the War (William, James Herbert and James William). The Manchesters had the greengrocers from after the War and were well-known locally for fruit & veg, particularly in Woolwich Market. Prior to the Markhams, the greengrocer at this address was H B Tyler. John and Mabel Gould we’re here in the later 50s and 60s.
