Georges Diner

Georges Diner, 361-363 North Woolwich Road, Victoria Docks, Borough of Newham, London E16, 2012 • A patch of blasted loneliness on the Silvertown peninsula, once a strange and alien part of London, now increasingly normal. 1. This is in the Derelict London book which was published in 2006 so it’s been derelict for some time. From memory as I don’t have the book to hand it closed down in 2005 to make way for the Silvertown Quays development.

  2. Was just watching The Family an old ITV mini-drama which had Martin Kemp and Jamie Foreman in it and there is a scene when they go to this cafe. it’s in Episode 4 just after they’d been to the Tilbury Ferry Jetty to dispose of someone lol
